“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Proverbs 29:18

Happy New Year Friends and Followers,

I pray your 2019 has gotten off to a running start and that everything that you pray and dream and hope for by God’s loving grace comes true for you this year!

The following is just a quick overview of my 2019 Prayers, Hopes, Dreams, and Vision for my life this year.

My 2019 Vision and Goals are a combination Where I want to go? When I want to get there? What it looks like?

“Write the vision; And make it plain on tablets…”

~ Habakkuk 2:2

I have bundled all of my 1st and 2nd Quarter 2019 Vision and Goals into the following photo:

So in 2019, my focus will be on the following:

  • Prayer & Fasting: Prayer, Prayer, and more Prayer. Never stop praying. In 2019 my focus is on cultivating a more consistent and extremely powerful prayer life. Every year in January my church hosts a period of prayer and fasting called 21 Days of Prayer. And it is my plan to attend every prayer meeting in person or online (if traveling for work). I am still praying about what type of fast God is wanting me to take on this season, in previous years I have done the Daniel Fast (selective fast), a Partial Fast (Fasting from Sunup to Sundown), and a Soul Fast (Fasting from social media).
  • Writing & Publishing: Writing, Writing, and more Writing and becoming a Published Author this year!
  • Health & Fitness . Self-explanatory. If you have read any of my 2018 content or followed me pre-2018, you know my health & fitness lifestyle pretty much suffered drastically in 2018. So getting consistent, dropping a few pounds and regaining my energy is on the list for the top of the year. Making it my business to re-establish my relationship with the “iron” and the “pavement” (more on this in my Health + Fitness Blog)
  • Love & Relationships. So LOVE is at the center of this photo because it is the center of everything in my year for 2019. As broken as I felt over the majority of the course of 2018, relationships were the glue that kept piecing me back together, every time I found myself falling apart and not just any relationships. These were genuine relationships, covenant relationships from one believer to another. Praying sincerely for me; and doing life with me. Godly friendships with people that love out of their love for God, not themselves or for selfish motives. Something I must say was an answered prayer in 2018. At the end of 2017, I asked God to send more spirit-filled, Godly relationships into my life after finding myself feeling defeated and broken from the life-stealing relationships, self-centered, predatory people I found myself dealing with in 2017. God definitely heard my cry and He delivered! So genuine love is something I am keeping at the forefront of my year in 2019.
  • Home & Office.    The photo of the office space, is my vision and goal for organizing my living and work space in my home. Why? Out with Old and in with the New. Productivity. Can’t have Productivity in the midst of Calamity. Some things just gotta go!
  • Travel & Missions: Last but surely not least of my Q1 & Q2 2019 Vision and Goals Board is my upcoming Short-term Mission Trip to Israel with my Bible College evening student cohort at Highlands College . I am still raising money for the journey, it is my prayer that you would sincerely pray with my team and I for our journey. You can also help support this trip financially at the following link:

So what’s on your 2019 Vision and Goals board for the 1st and/or even 2nd Quarter of this New Year? Feel free to share some of what you have planned in the comments below so that I can be praying for and with you as you kick off this new year of blessings!

Until Next Time,

Write From the Heart
