WATCHING my thoughts, because they become my actions. #WatchMeWork!

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”Lao Tzu

Try this acronym. What does it say to you? Are you on WATCH? Let’s see what scripture has to say about being on “WATCH”:

W —  Words. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” ~ Proverbs 18:21 MSG

A — Actions. “We justify our actions by appearances;  God examines our motives. Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors mean far more to God than religious performance.” ~ Proverbs 21:2-3 MSG

T — Thoughts. “Carefully guard your thoughts  because they are the source of true life.” ~ Proverbs 4:23

C — Companions. “Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces.” ~ Proverbs 13:20 MSG

H — Habits. “Dear friend, listen well to my words;  tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart. Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they’re bursting with health.” ~ Proverbs 4: 20-27 MSG

So currently, I’m watching my thoughts, because they become life or death depending on what I speak. They become the way I live my life based on the actions I take or don’t take. They become the source from which my life springs forth from. They become the company I keep and the company I don’t keep. Lastly, they become the habits that I practice and the ones’ I choose not to practice.

So, what are you currently watching? Stay on WATCH my friends. Until the next CURRENTLY….I AM…to be continued next Saturday for #bloglikecrazy November!
